Most clients want their philanthropic dollars to be used most effectively. Navigating the world of philanthropy can be a challenge. Knowing how and where to give to maximize impact and minimize taxes requires experience and expertise that many donors do not have.
Simply put, the Rider Kenley team helps clients navigate the how, what, and why of giving to improve your charitable outcomes, minimize taxes, and maximize the value of your gifts
Successful businesses start by establishing the correct foundation upon which to operate. Our business/partnership formation services are comprehensive and include: assisting with determining your start-up capital needs; identifying sources of start-up capital (and backup sources, if needed); evaluating and quantifying your borrowing power;
selecting a formation structure; selecting accounting and bookkeeping software; preparing budgets and cash flow projections; establishing billing and collection procedures; establishing financial reporting and monitoring protocols; preparing and filing all required state and local licenses and permits; filing for your Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN); providing payroll tax filing services; and assisting with securing business insurance.
Every estate planning situation is unique. The Rider Kenley team works together with you and your family to understand your specific goals and objectives, and the nature of your relationships.
We will develop an estate planning strategy that minimizes taxes and maximizes the wealth you desire to transfer. First, we assist you with clearly defining your estate planning goals. Next, we organize and mobilize your entire estate planning team (lawyers, financial advisors, and tax professionals).
We evaluate and recommend appropriate estate planning options and then work with you to ensure the best option is implemented vis-à-vis your estate planning documents. Finally, we will continue to analyze whether any amendments are prudent based as your financial and personal lives evolve.
Succession planning is not a one-size-fits-all or a one-time event. In fact, effective succession planning starts many years prior to an “exit event”. Whether you are executing a carefully developed succession plan or reacting to a sudden leadership departure, the Rider Kenley team provides a suite of services to guide your organization through a succession process.
Our team includes individuals with the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation, which means we are well-versed in the ways to successfully transition businesses while enhancing value along the way.
Payroll and bookkeeping are necessary albeit time-consuming aspects of running a business. The Rider Kenley team offers payroll solutions that meet your business needs and enable you to spend time doing what you do best: running your company.
Our team is well versed in Quickbooks. We provide training to clients that prefer to run their bookkeeping in-house. We also offer full-service outsourced payroll and bookkeeping departments.
